Rap and Hip Hop album reviews?!

Question: Rap and Hip Hop album reviews!?
I saw Bonnie's question and this came to mind, do you write personal reviews for albums!? if so what do u include!? e!.g!. do you break down every track or what!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
i'm a writer on the school newspaper (don't hate) and i do all the music reviews for every issue, so yea I guess I do

I try to break it all down by track and then do a summation, but sometimes it gets tedious, especially when you shoudl be studying (I'm referring to my review on Bonnie's question)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't write them but here's what I like to see in a review!.
3 Ratings(Production,Lyrics,Overall) The overall taking into account and including in the description the consistency, fluency & feel of the album as a whole!.
I also like to read comparisons on previous releases, comments on the guest artists performances, the general style of hip hop it is, sometimes but not always helpful who it sounds like if they are a new or obscure group!.
I wouldn't mind seeing what samples are used too and how it sits with current releases in terms of hype & quality!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

kind of!. when i review an album i always think of three factors: should anyone else shell out the 15!.59!? how long will they listen to it!? is it a classic!? with that being said i have typed reviews for the last three albums i purchased: "Rising Down" by the Roots, "When life gives you lemons!.!.!." by Atmosphere and "The Odd Couple" by Gnarls Barkley!. i do this mainly because if i was wondering about buying an album i would enjoy someone else putting a thorough review for it!. btw, my reviews for those albums were: Rising Down: 8!.5/10, "When life gives you lemons!.!.!.!." 7/10, and The Odd Couple 8/10!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
