Yesterday i saw a b-girl crying.... (my official review of "Rising Down&quo!

Question: Yesterday i saw a b-girl crying!.!.!.!. (my official review of "Rising Down" by The Roots)!?
m'kay, here it goes:

this is the first Roots album i have ever purchased so maybe i just fell in love with the uniqueness of it!. the lyrics are all on point the beats are great and the subject matter doesnt get boring, with the reception of one too many "hip hop is dying"-esque songs!. most people's sole complaint is that there are too many features, and i agree (dice raw may as well be a member)!. all in all: great album, EVERYONE should go buy it!. my rating: 8!.5/10

i would appreciate anyone else's rating or criticism's on my rating!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i thought that this was gonna be real good because the songs i heard before the album came out were so gangsta!. The first 5 tracks are some of the best songs to come out this year, after that it gets really gay!. There's a couple songs that are decent but they really dont go with the album, and the rest of them are wack!. For the wack songs, the choruses are really gay "yesterday i saw a b-girl crying!.!.!.!.!."!. also too much kweli and common and all that, the best guest verses come from styles p and peedi!. I would give the album a 6!.5!.!.!.

If you can get the tracks rising down, get busy, 75 bars, and maybe even rising up, you really dont need this album on you!. The show is an ok track too but they just sound real bored on it!. And also, blackthought is as ill as he always is on this, but still i wouldnt waste my hard earned!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just one comment on this album!.!.!.with this album, I think the Roots have shown one characteristic that alot of groups fail to achieve - consistency!.

When the Roots signed to a major label, they proved everybody wrong, including myself, that the mainstream is no curse, that the mainstream is capable of producing quality music, and that the mainstream is just as capable of making great music as the underground is, all with the release of Game Theory!.

Rising Down not only solidified (as if the Roots already didn;t have a place in Hip Hop) their place as legends, but I feel that with this album, the Roots need to start getting mentioned as a contender for the GOAT group!.

This album gets 4 mics from me, or 8/10!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

really I felt it was kind of a subpar album!. Not the roots best work, I'll probably still buy becasue who knows it might grow on me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
