Have you ever had a mislabelled CD?!

Question: Have you ever had a mislabelled CD!?
This is so weird!

My Iced Earth CD, Glorious Burden, all the songs are misslabelled!.

When it is supposed to be playing the Star Spangeled Banner, it plays Decleration Day!. When it supposed to be playing Decleration Day, it plays When the Eagle Cries!.

However the strange part is that when this song plays, it's still high lighted on the apropriate song!. Star Spangeled Banner is highlighted and playing, but I'm hearing Decleration Day!.

Make sense!?

My CD does have this little clear spot on the other side of the disk which I believe is the error and the manucafurers fault!.

This happen to anyone else before!?

Doesn't necissarily have to be this CD!.

My Windows Media Player may just be insane!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
WMP assumes it knows what the CD is from it's internet linked data, and lists the titles as it believes them to be!.

When I put in my "Eternally Damned" best-of album, it insisted the album was actually "Machine Gun Etiquette", and brought up that track-listing!. I had to go through and manually re-name all the tracks!.

It also believed a Stevie Nicks album was "Use Your Illusion II" by Guns N' Roses!

Check the disc in a non-computer CD player, and see if it has the same problem!. If it does, the disc is faulty!. If not, WMP has made a mistake!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The information that is given to you on Windows Media Player is mainly entered by the people and for the people!. You can edit the song titles and stuff on the player and that means anyone could do it and they could also mess up the song titles!. My suggestion is to insert the CD, and select the artist section and type in the artist!. Then right click on a song and select Find Album Info!. Then It will find the info and you can edit it with the correct songlist!. This will save it for people of the future that will look up this list!. Hope this helped!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, but I used to date a girl who ran a second-hand record shop!. She once showed me an LP by the Doors someone had sold her!. It was packaged and labelled as a Doors album, but when the B side was played it was Arethra Franklin!. (The A side was the Doors, as it was supposed to be!.)

She sold the LP as a curiosity for what would today be the equivalent of $30!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sometimes when windows media player downloads the titles from the internet, they are incorrect!. Happens to me all the time ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Never happened to me!. Methinks you need to get iTunes!. It kicks WMP's ***!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
