Things to consider:
- The sax has just as much of a unique sound as any other instrument (more if you include the soul)
- Trumpet's job is to go higher, faster, louder
- Sax players get all the chicks, because they kiss better (it's something to do with how a brass player's emboucher goes all soft when they kiss)
- Sax reeds come 10 for $25

Trumpet can really go crazy and sound great, but if you're into the more laid back jazzy kind of stuff I'd definitely say Sax!.
- Jazz legend Miles Davis was awesome at trumpet, playing a lot of different ways, but unless you're an extremely versatile player like Davis, it depends on your jazz preference!. If you like up-beat kind of smooth jazz liek Beat Street or something, then I'd go with trumpet, but if not, Sax definitely!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I would say the trumpet because the trumpet has more sound, like a unique sound than the sax!. In a jazz band at my school doesn't have a lot of trumpets but a lot of saxes, when my teacher told the half of the saxes don't play, and let the all the trumpets play ; it sounded really nice!. so i'm saying trumpet!.
