Answers:
Yes!
Almost every one of my favourite songs has a moment in my life connected to it!.
Whenever i hear it, that moment comes back to me!.

I used to LOVE the band Muse last year, and i probably still would except that last year was really weird for me, so whenever i hear one of their songs somewhere, all these bad memeories come back to me :0Www@Enter-QA@Com

Excellent question!
And yes! I do!

There are a million examples, and I'm going to list one for now and come back with more :)

Time - Pink Floyd
Everytime I hear it, it brings me back to a few years ago when me and my two closest friends were very stoned on weed and valium and it was like a dream world and we were singing it!.!.It was mine and a friends 'song' too and we'd always sing it!.!.
Fun times!.!.The person who I shared the song with and I don't talk anymore and I miss her!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, you are asking for only "sore spots"!.!.!. music generally equals happy times, celebrations to me!.!.!.
like my senior prom dancing with my Gf, or the first song I played when I cruised in my car when I first got my license (Sweet Home Alabama, Skynyrd)!.
Or, "pomp and circumstance" that played when I graduated college!.!.!. or getting so rediculously baked in my college apartment listening to Rush's Passage To Bangkok!.

For the "sore spots"!.!.!.!. Id say when my gf of 5 years broke up with me and I played Toby Keith's "Im so happy, I cant stop cryin" and sat in my bedroom for like a week!.

Music holds the ability to bring you up, and push you down!.!.!. your mood influences which one you choose!.

FYI, I agree that Pink Floyd is overrated and that I got straight up BORED of them and their ONE sound after a while!. cannot stand any of their songs except possibly Another Brick in the Wall!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do that also! I can't enjoy hellogoodbye because I used to listen to it with my ex boyfriend!. I can't listen to a song by Panic! at the Disco when I'm mad at my best friend because thats unofficially "our song"!. Everytime I hear Cancer by My
Chemical Romance I have to switch the song because It reminds me of the loved ones I lost to cancer!. (I accidentally heard it after the funeral) :-(Www@Enter-QA@Com

My entire life revolves around 80's style heavy metal,
my band, my playing style, my appearance, even the wake up track on my alarm clock, it's "Death Trap" by Pantera, is that enough evidence for you!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, and I associate songs with friends as well; however, I usually associate music with the good times, not the bad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
