I first heard them when I lived in Austin back in '96!. The only album I own is Too Far To Care which IMO is spectacular!. Salone, Big Brown Eyes, and House That Used To Be are my favorites but the whole album is solid from cover to cover!. I also somewhere have the audio portion from the old Napster days when they appeared on Austin City Limits which is great!.

Probably my second favorite of the alt-country bands, the first being the greatness that is Uncle Tupelo!.
Edit: Cold Roses, if I could see one reunion of all the bands I've enjoyed over the years UT would probably be the one!. To me they were sort of a Husker Du - two extremely blessed and talented songwriters who challenged each other to write better material!. That would be a fantastic show, to see Farrar and Tweedy back together!. Both Wilco and Son Volt have their good moments but nothing like when the two centerpieces played together!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
