I Agree that Hip Hop is in a critical state!. And honestly there is no black and white!.!. Hip hop isn't dead, but it isn't thriving as I feel it should!.!.!. nobody is stirring things up, things aren't as good as they used to be!.!. careers aren't lasting as long, classics are in short supply, good lyricist aren't appreciated, disposable hip hop is at all all time high, new cats coming into the game nothing about the culture or the old school MC's that paved the way!.!.!. WE HAVE SOME PROBLEMS TO SETTLE!.!.!.!.!. BUT WE STILL HAVE A CHANCE!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i agree with the mainstream comment, but their is alot of artists i would have never gave a chance, if i didn't hear it on the radio, or tv!. I like hip-hop as a whole, not really into the hardcore rap, what i would consider hardcore, is like gangsta rap!. I like everything from 2pac to asheru!. I like originality, i like what i call jazz rap, artist like guru!. The sh it you hear nowadays on your mtv and your BET is in my opinion a bunch of trash!. Hip hop if u want is dead, fine listen to what got ya into hip hop then, but dont say hip hops dead cause their isn't big time rivals east vs west or so on!. If your looking for someone to fill the void in the mainstream part of hip hop be patient and keep waiting, it just might take a while!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

hip/hop is alive the reason there is different stuff these days is because time progresses the music moves forward with the time!.

now you can still buy old school music and new school more choice!.

if you could only buy old scholl stuff not as many people would like hip/hop!.

i like old school and new stuff so people who only like old school stuff can enjoy hip/hop but they dont want it to grow so everyone can enjoy it!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

my answer is quite simple, hip-hop is not dead!. if u look passed the bulls**t thats out there now u can still find true emcees that do the genre justice and prove that hip hop is not dead!.!.!. take a note from K-OS,

"hip hop is not dead/ its really the mind of the emcee!"Www@Enter-QA@Com

yea its dead i get tired of hearing about cars and stuff the reason people say its dead because some people like to hear about rappers who have been through some of the same things normal people haveWww@Enter-QA@Com
