I am a big fan of both, but I would have to go with Jimmy Page as he was a heavy metal pioneer!. He was one of the people who helped to create the genre of heavy metal!. so as the creator of the heavy style of guitar I would say that makes him greater than Slash who only participated in a form of music that had already been created!. I don't think Slash ever did a guitar solo with a violin bow!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Put on Led Zep's BBC Sessions, How the West Was Won or the the Led Zep DVD (the show from 1970)!.
Or you could even find Page with the Black Crowes or the Plant/Page "Unleded" video!.
Find the GNR Live at the Ritz and the official live DVD!. Or even You Tube up the 2007 reunion!.
Slash is a nicer guy, if you were to base skill on personality, Slash would win hands down!. Very down to earth!.

jimmy page!. hands down!. i have never seen slash with a 12 string guitar!. i don't think he even knows how to hold one much less how to play it!. jimmy page's fingers flow over well tuned guitars like water over smooth rocks in a river!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
