I'm a clean cut 32 year old guy with no facial hair!.!.!.no tats or peircings, and I don't dress in black, or wear Metal t-shirts!.
(Most of the time I'm either in a suit or a football jersey and baggy shorts)

Yeah!.!.!. I get that a lot!. Nobody really believes me when I tell them I like metal, I usually get a blank stare then they think I'm joking!. Oh well, I really don't care, I like what I like and I don't think I have to look a certain way to appreciate any kind of music!.

I know what you mean!. I have also been told that esp!. when I state I love metal music!. I graduated h!.s!. in '77, so that gives you an idea of my age!. Anyway, this is a true story!. Laugh & enjoy:

Everyone says I dont look like a person into metal when I tell them I am into metal!. Then when I tell them the type of metal I listen to people usually freak out!. I look like a book worm or librarian fairy (fairy meaning I am tiny)!.

At my school I really don't talk very much!. I only talk to my really good friends at school!. I know that no one would have expected me to listen to metal, just by looking at me!. Judging by other answers, I find it hard to believe that so many people have built up the completley wrong stereotype for metalheads!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yea all the time lol!. people tell me im way too sweet and innocent looking to listen to heavy metal!. I go to a small school too, like 200 students, so when they look in my locker and see pics of my fave bands (like, goth ppl and stuff) they freak out and tell everyone im a witch and stuff like that cos every one hur is really conservative!. kinda sux!. but yea, its just typical steriotyping, and its pretty stupid, so usually i ignore it!.
