I am a HUGE DMX fan, and this is the way that I would rank his albums from best to worst:
1!. "Its Dark and Hell is Hot"- a classic album in my eyes and one of my favorites of all time!. X was a beast on this album and it had so many tough tracks, and basically all of them were worth listening to!.
2!. "!.!.!.And Then There Was X"- This was when X was at his peak in terms of popularity and commercial/financial value!. This album has some of the best club songs of all time, and it was just a dope album period!.
3!. "The Great Depression"- This one is very underrated in my eyes; it didn't really get good reviews, but I thought it was a really good album with some tough tracks- "Trina Moe" is one of my favorite songs of all time!.
4!. "Flesh of my Flesh, Blood of my Blood"- Most will probably have this higher, but in my opinion, it was a bit disappointing!. I think it was rushed a bit too much because X had just came out with his first album only a few months before this one was dropped!. I still think that it was a good album, but it wasn't as satisfying for me as the others!.
5!. "Year of the Dog!.!.!.Again"-After "retiring" this was his attempt at coming back; it was a decent effort and it had some hard tracks with some good featured guests, but it just didn't feel like the old X!. This was his only album to not debut at number 1 and go platinum, which says one of two things: either the industry has changed, or X is not the same as he once was, or both!.
6!. "Grand Champ"- I really didn't like this one at all!. It was long as hell and had like 23 tracks, but only about 6 of them were honestly worth listening to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
