Question: I'm a beginner looking to put new strings on my Jasmine S34C (Takamine), what would you recommend for strings!?

Use DR strings my friend!. I started using them on all my guitars, electric and acoustic!. They are a great sounding string for acoustic, sure bright and they have a good life to them as well!. They tend to be a little more expensive but they are well worth the money!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
