Bands....?!
Question: Bands!.!.!.!.!?
-They have to be newish!. last album made between 2004 and now!.
-my favorite genres are metal (any kind but mostly heavy metal), punk (real punk!. Not Good Charlotte stuff!. although I do love Green Day so I'm slightly a hypocrite), GOTH (I love goth), post-hardcore, and electronic!.
-I like screaming but not when the entire song is just screaming!. I like when screaming creates contrast and dynamics and emotion and stuff like that!. If you're screaming the entire time in every song, it just sounds like noise!.
-I don't really like bands with songs about how much you hate your ex and stuff!. Unless your ex is a vampire!. That's cool!. And the only pop band I like is Panic! At The Disco but I only liked their first album!.

I strongly urge you to listen to the new Story Of The Year album, "The Black Swan"!. I bought it a few days ago and I've listened to it about fifteen times already!. It's utterly mindblowing!. It fuses punk rock and post-hardcore with melodic rock and metalcore!. There is quite a bit of screaming, but it is perfectly contrasted with singing - and the choruses are epic and make you feel like singing along at the top of your lungs!. There are riffs that are heavy and coated with steel, giving a strong metallic sound, and lighter, more melodic guitars which capture the delicate intricacies of their music!. It's a dynamic which has always worked wonders for Story Of The Year - and The Black Swan is without doubt their best album yet!.
I'd also check out the new Bullet For My Valentine album "Scream Aim Fire" and Atreyu's latest, "Lead Sails Paper Anchor"!. I saw this band once that basically define "goth", and they're called Deadstar Assembly!. They fuse gothic rock with electronic music and punk!. Think Marylin Manson crossed with In Flames minus the screaming!.
Ooh yeah, and don't forget Fightstar!. I'm really getting into them at the moment!. Their latest CD is a masterpiece!. They are half metalcore and half alt-rock, melding heavy, metallic riffs and ferocious screaming with delicate melodies and soulful singing!. Another high recommendation!.
The Blackout are pretty good too!. Check out their most recent album "We Are The Dynamite"!. I say they are a cross between the aforementioned Fightstar, and The Used!.
