no, NEVER and I mean NEVER should you use a bass in a guitar amp under any cicumstances, you wont notice any sound differences but over time playing a bass throught a guitar amp will ruin your amplifier and cause your speaker cone to crack!.
It is however, okay to use a guitar in a bass amp, its not as nice of a tone as with a guitar amp but it wont cause any damage!.
Bottomline, I wouldnt recomend playing a bass with any amp rig other than one designed specifically for bass guitars!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
