Have any of you grown out of clubbin/raving?!
Question: Have any of you grown out of clubbin/raving!?
I am asking those who went to clubs/raves where dance music - trance, teckno, drum and bass, acid house, etc - what made you finally grow out of it!? What made you finally stop going altogether!? Or perhaps you only go now and then!?

I never really enjoyed it!.
But when I got into my mid twenties and had a mortgage and bills to pay, spending ￡50 on a night's clubbing became less of a priority and I actually ended up begrudging the money that could be spent on something more useful and long-lasting!.
Plus getting into a stable relationship pretty much puts a damper on clubbing - most clubs are meat-markets where people are going to pull!.
There was also the fact that I gave up drinking and you can't really have much fun in a club when you're sober!.
As Pepper says, I'd sooner spend the money going to a gig by a band I really like, or a night out for a nice meal etc with my other half!.

I'm not sure but I've recently stopped going out out!. I just don't have the same enthusiasm anymore!. I still go out now and then but not every weekend like before!. I thought I'd love it for life, dance music etc!. I don't have one real reason but I guess it all catches up with you!. I feel old before my time though :(/Www@Enter-QA@Com
I love raving!.!.!.have been for about 8 years!. I don't go often but when I do I love it!. I love Drum and Bass raves and normally go when my boyfriend is djing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i never felt comfortable going to clubs or raves!. i've been to a few but i prefer to go to a concert or a lounge!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I used to go to all the Megadog's at The Rocket in London but as Dance bands have disappeared off the scene except for Chemical Brothers I now only really go to gigs and jump around at them now!Www@Enter-QA@Com
