Doesn't this just make you mad?!

Question: Doesn't this just make you mad!?
Okay, today's the day lefteye died, but you don't see anyone talking about it!. But if it were kurt cobain or elvis anneversiry, they'd be playing music and highligting their careers!. I think Black celebrities who have died are just forgotten about completely!. I mean, they don't even talk about aaliyah either!. or james brown, big l, big pun, none of them! even on bet, they don't say anything about the artist when their deathdate comes up!. The only black artists who are talked about when their death comes up is tupac and biggie smalls!. Hell, they even talk about princess diana every year!.

anyone agree that no one cares about deceased black celebrities!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
I remeber when Left Eye actually died very vividly because I was glued to the TV cuz all anybody had on was TLC videos and documentaries!. As ****** up as it is, her death really got me back into TLC & they've been one of my favorite groups since then!. Its really important to pay tribute to the dead, no matter what!.!.!.black, white, musician, princess, rapper, songwriter whatever!. These people caused so much pain for the public when they passed that it's obvious how important they were!. Keeping their songs playing and doing all-access type shows on the days of their deaths keep us from forgetting how much we loved them and their music!.

And R!.I!.P!. to one of the few truly talented female rappers - Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

RIP Lefteye indeed!.

unforunately right now though, my thoughts are with the family of Sean Bell and the other victims as the judge has just handed down an OUTRAGEOUS verdict of NOT GUILTY on all charges to the 3 NYPD oficers who fired more than 50 shots at these unarmed men and killed one of them that was getting married that day!.

RIP SEAN BELLWww@Enter-QA@Com

It is so ironic that you posted this--I just posted on a different question about a song that makes me cry, and I said the Aaliyah song "Miss You"!.!.!.but your right, and that just sucks!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i dont agree with that!.

if i know someone and they are black or white it's the same loss!.

and

big pun
pimp c
proof
aliyah
left eye

and many more will be rememered by people who respected them!.

origin or race doesnt come into it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

James Brown just died fairly recently and they talked about him a lot when the aniversary of his death came!. There were several specials on CNN and those channels!. I don't even think i've ever seen something about Elvis' death!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

omg i never even knew aaliyah died yikes i guess i should listen more to hip hop n rap!.!.!.!.:) and i feel bad for every other person that dies!. :(Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because no one listens to Elvis and Nirvana anymore!.
Where as people still listen to Aaliyah, TLC, 2Pac and ect!.!.!.!. therefor they live through there music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They talk about MLK!. I cant even agree on that one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Brothaba said it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I wish they'd stop talking about Kurt Cobain, he wasn't a good singer or guitar player!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think so as wellWww@Enter-QA@Com

I agree but it's because you know we're "dumb ni99ers"!. What can you say!. I hate racist fcuks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i do not agree with you, i care about them!.

lets be honest though, left eye didnt do as much for music as elvis!. its debatable if he truly is deserving of as much appraise as he has gotten, but just look at how many records he sold, and how many movies he made!.

the passing of james brown was a huge loss to us all!. you didnt even have to personally own any of his albums, he was sampled quite a bit, and inspired so many others!.

the reason some are remembered so well, is because of their fans!. its up to us to remember who inspired us!. its always been the pitfall of hip hop/rap to dispose of all the past artists, if they arent current!. it seems as though noone ever even gives a nod to those that helped create the scene for them!.

maybe you could build a tribute site to left eye, and throw that link out to us!? add a message board!.!.!.see if others feel the same way as you!.

anyhow, dont be angry!. do something positive with all that energy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Life isn't fair!. I just know that I truly feel that Lisa Left Eye Lopes was the heart and soul of TLC!. As you can see they tried to replace her and never made it without her!!
And for all those haters out there saying she didn't have talent and wasn't legit!.!.!.!.she had an album with Suge Knight that should have been released that showed her true talent!. The girl was banging!.
RIP Lisa Left Eye Lopes!!! You were an angel!!! We miss you and always will!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
