Neither!. I'm already into certain songs and completely knowledgeble as to what genre they belong to!. So that Rules out the Genre-imparied!. And I'm not soley stuck to one genre!. I favor black metal more than most genre's, but that's just my ear!. But I'm not biased towards other genres!.

Anyway, I've recently been hooked on Green Carnation's "Light of Day, Day of Darkness!." A progressive-metal masterpiece that combines elements from death, doom, folk, and other genres!. Beware: it's a massive 60 minutes long!.

I like to do both (sort of) I like to focus on my three favorite genres (Symphonic, Gothic and Melo-death metal) mostly but I branch out and try new things and always try to keep an open ear for good music regardless of the genre!. It's just that I usually keep coming back to these specific genres in the end!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Being genre impaired is great fun especially when I first got into metal because it opens up tons of sub-genres that I love getting completely lost in!. :D
But once I became more familiar with it in general, Metal Elitist would be a great next step!. I would like to master Black Metal!.

While I have for years heard this song be played on the radio, I never bothered to learn to play it until someone told me I couldnt, which I took as a challenge!. Its already a great song, but after learning to play it on my own, I grew a new appreciation for it!.

Honestly though, life is exhausting enough ~ I dont want to disect my music into little neat "genre" piles!. If I like it, I like it period!.
Besides, who's information do you trust!? Every five seconds a new genre pops up and what you thought you knew!.!.!. turns out you dont!
