There's a song about a guy looking for love in a newspaper ad??!

And there's a girl looking for love also but when he meets her he finds out that girl was the one he thought was boring in the first place!. I heard it once and can't remember much other than that it sounds pretty old!. I'd say early 1980s and backwards!. Sorry, I know so little about the song!. Any guesses will be appreciated, too!.
