I think they would be apropriate for a kid!. They are christian band!. I am not a fan, but they do have a good message!.

POD plays pretty light metal or pretty hard rock!.
if you are his mom, i would be thankful that he listend to them rather than some of the other more hard bands out there!.
POD has pretty clean lyrics and he is probably attracted to the beat of the song because the guitar riffs are awesome!.
there are other bands out there that talk about raping the world and dechristianizing the planet, so compared to them, POD is like pop!.
i wouldnt worry about it too much, because even if you restrict im from listening to POD he will probably just listen to some other bands who may have worse lyrics and intentions than POD!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, I've been listening to them at a very young age!. They are terrific!. Especially the song "Alive"!. They play kind of a rockish thing!. Prolly mixed with a little emo!. And then some goth mixed in it, but it i mostly rock!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
