Question: Why does DragonForce play horrible live!?
i love that song from GH3, but i saw a live performance on youtube, and it was pretty bad!. i know i play worse standing up than i do sitting down, but their live version vs the studio version sounds totally different!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are several reasons
1)!. The music they play is tough!. They have to mix each part separately because the riffs are so freaking tough so when it comes to concert time, you have to do it on one shot
2)!. DragonForce is known to get drunk at concerts!.!.!.and when you're drunk, you just don't play well!. They could perform better if they weren't so drunk!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I am a qualified ear doctor and Dragonforce fanatic!. They only play bad because of aerostesioctica, or deafness in the center ear lobe in the cerebrial cortex!. Next time, just dominate in GH3 so you will lack in the hearing ForceWww@Enter-QA@Com

Because they're stuff is too intense to actually play!.!.!. seriously!. In a studio they are able to record clips of a song and then thread them together!. Live you have to be ablke to play it perfectly right then and there!.!.!. which they can't!. Through the Fire and the Flames is an incredible song, and I do love Dragonforce, but they're really only good on a CD!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
They don't actually play like you heard in Through the Fire and the Flames, a lot of it is computerized!. So when they play live without the computer manipulation, it sounds different and less intense!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Because when they do the album they have an infinite number of takes in the studio, but they only have one take live!. So basically they have to dumb it down when they're live so they don't mess up!.

Because there "music" is COMPLETELY artificial, it sounds like a cheap video-game soundtrack from the 80's!. also, they "perform" some of the worst and most laughable "guitar solos" in music history, fake computer-generated crap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i've seen some sloppy performances they had on youtube!. but i saw them on tour, and they actually sounded very good!.

aside from the fact that most bands dont play nearly as well on stage as in the studio the videos on youtube are rarely of good quality and they kind of mess up the sound
