Fleetwood Mac (1975+)
{Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham}
{and two brief phases which included : Rick Vitto, Billy Burnette [with Stevie & Christine], Bekka Bramlet, Dave Mason [with Billy & Christine]}

Fleetwood Mac (1967-1975)
{Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, Christine McVie, Bob Welch}

Vinegar Joe
{Elkie Brooks and Robert Palmer}

Pink Floyd
{David Gilmour and Roger Waters}

Fairport Convention
{Sandy Denny, Richard Thompson, Simon Nicol, Dave Swarbrick}

The Beatles
{John, Paul, George and Ringo}

The Eagles
{Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey}

Queen
{Freddie Mercury, some songs : Brian May and Roger Taylor}

********** ************** ************* ************* ************
Ostrich :
Silver is currently in the midst of a Sandy Denny addiction!
Everyone *must* hear 'Quiet Joys of Brotherhood' ~ it is a truly amazing song {new lyrics set to the tune of 'Lagan Love'}, and the harmony / duet vocalist was Linda Thompson!.

Bronwen :
Christine McVie's 'blues' vocals were a lovely contrast to Stevie's 'bellow the belt' voice!. Don't pass judgement until you've heard both her first solo album "Christine Perfect" {her maiden name}, and the 1970 - 1975 Fleetwood Mac songs, such as 'Why', 'Heroes are Hard to Find', 'Spare Me A Little of Your Love', and 'Come A Little Bit Closer'!. Remember, Chris was their only female vocalist for 5 years, and in that time built up a following of her own!. Stevie only joined because she and Lindsey were a 'package deal'!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, The Clash, of course!.!.!.

- but my Favorite and Most Talented Duo are ---

Deep Purple with Dave Coverdale & Glenn Hughes!.

EDIT - Oh, d a r n - "Raymond G" beat me to Deep Purple!.

also - Hats off to Silver* for mentionig Fairport Convention - they should be discussed more on this site IMO!.

Excellent question, and one I have been meaning to ask myself for quite some time!.

The ones that come most readily to mind include:

--The English Beat
--General Public (stepchild of The English Beat)
--The Eagles (all of them sang at some point or other, even if main vocal duties were shared by Henley and Frey for the most part)
--Fleetwood Mac (why on Earth would anyone let Chris McPhee open her mouth when Stevie Nicks has that lovely raspy contralto!?)
--Oasis (I think the two brothers are both classed as lead singers, are they not!?)
--Depeche Mode (Martin Gore used to sing from time to time, even if Dave Gahan is really the actual "lead singer")
--The Clash
--Big Audio Dynamite (again, sort of a stepchild to The Clash)
--Pink Floyd (forgot it, and had to come back and add it--one of my favorite bands of all time--how could I miss it on the first go around!?)

Those are the only ones I can think of off-hand where there are two or more vocalists at the SAME time sharing singing duties!. All others are bands like AC/DC where one lead singer died or was kicked from the band and another took over!.

Nice question--wish I had asked it myself ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Alice In Chains with Layne Stanley & Jerry Cantrell
System Of A Down with Serj Tankian & Dario MalakianWww@Enter-QA@Com

AC/DC ~ and they were/are both great!

Chicago definitely does belong on the list!. Peter Cetera sang "25 or 6 to 4" and "Questions 67 & 68", Robert Lamm sang "Beginnings" and "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" and Terry Kath sang "Color My World" and "Make Me Smile"--and that's just on the first 2 albums!. Definitely shared lead vocals by 3 different singers in the same band at the same time!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
