Matt Damon is an actor, not a trumpeter!. He may be the Talented Mr!. Ripley but he ain't as talented as Kenny Dorham, the trumpeter in Blue Bossa which was released on the album Page One!.
I really liked his Inner Urge album!. His solo on Inner Urge is a marvelous one because of it's richness in melody!. It paints an image of finding a so called "inner urge!." Not only is Joe strong in this recording but also his sidemen: McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, Bob Cranshaw!. They have been veterans of other groups, namely John Coltrane and Sonny Rollins!. They turn up some nice strong solos too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
