Question: What are some hip hop concept albums!?

I never said I didn't "like" hip-hop!. Jay-Z's "American Gansta" was just out, last year!.!. you never heard about it!? there's 10, I can name off my head just by being aware of the music industry!.!.!. from 80's Beastie Boyz on through just about anything done today, that has to claim a theme!.!.!. because there's not enough THOUGHT going into the lyrics, to have 10-12 separate thoughts/completely variant ideas for songs!.!.!. the "concept" is most usually the same, if/when playing to the lowest common demoninator -- as if the 60's civil rights/equality & 70's emphasis on education & self-determination NEVER existed, and therfore the subject matter glorifies choices that have crushed 2-3 generations while 80% of the buying public takes none of it "seriously"!.!.!. (as record execs, etc!. laugh all the way to bank)!. Kanye West's career was made on this, his first videos, etc!. -- and what was his background again!? Think about how you even know the phrase "pimp my ride" or say "lemme get" when ordering a coffee!.!.!.
