Could someone tell me what pointgaming is?!

Question: Could someone tell me what pointgaming is!?
So I don't do it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
They can give you a violation notice for point gaming if you say something like "2 points" in your answer!. It makes it seem like the primary reason you're answering is not to help the asker, but to get points for yourself!.

Or even better, I found the Yahoo Answers blog on the topic if you wish to read it
http://blog!.360!.yahoo!.com/blog-te5Q5aMoR!.!.!.

And here is a classic example of someone new not knowing the rules, by awarding their other account with best answer!.
http://ph!.answers!.yahoo!.com/question/ind!.!.!.
As you can see by clicking the asker's profile, that account is now finished!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

to me it is where a bunch of people get together and give a user all the BA so they can get more of those points that are so valuable (lol)!. I have only been in YA since Jan, and saw a pretty bad case when I first got here and have not seen much since!.

Edit: "G" it is kind of in my opinion, but to me it is more a confirmation of a correct answer!. If I see an question seeking a specific answer, and there is 2-3 already, I typically not answer it!. But then I could give a rats patootie about the points, levels and badges hereWww@Enter-QA@Com

OK, Katie,
It's when a group, ( it could be from 2 to !?!?) pick "JoeBlow" best answer whether the answer is right or wrong!!
(and if there is a user out there going as the screen name "JoeBlow", I apologize)
(although I would worry about being more creative, than what I'm writing)
lol

**note**
Hey G!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!!!
If that were the case, then every one would be pointgaming!!!
(how many times has someone answered a Q, and then 15 followed!?!?!?
We have had our share here!!!
( I won't mention names)
but when someone asks a Q, and 30 people answer correctly and the "point gamer" says something totally different and still gets best answer, that's pointgaming!!!
(I'm gonna end my novel with "and they lived happily ever after")

lol

(oh, and for the record)!!!

If I see an answer that I believe is correct, I DON'T ANSWER!!!
(For the record)
lol

On edit!!
I just read Warthogs post!!!
( and I Agree 100%) !!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

it would seem to me that once the correct answer to a question is given , all similar repetitive answers are pointgaming , for example if the correct answer is "twenty-two" and several more answer with "twenty-two" they are just doing so for the points !. please correct me if I am wrongWww@Enter-QA@Com
