I'll get thumbs down for this, but i think his choice of album name wasn't good at all!. He knows people are trying to get the N-word banned, though i doubt it will ever happen!. And i think he will lose alot of respect from the older black people over this album, but his fans will still love it!. I might buy it!.

TLC, the word will never be banned, no matter how hard people push!. I think a controversial title is a great choice!.
Edit: It's not a shame, if it actually went through there would be so much backlash from other racial groups asking why the racial slurs against them aren't banned or even considered!.

i like Nas but i think he is trying too hard!. first, Hip Hop Is Dead and now Ni99er!. and he is walking around wearing the Ni99er t-shirt on

I still can't believe that he is calling the album that!. It's so crazy!. What's even crazier is him and his wife walking around with that word printed on jackets and shirts with sparkles!. Wow!. The boldness!. I understand where he's coming from with the title, but it's still a little crazy to actually see!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it's disrespectful, I know that my generation and the older generation have totally different feelings around this word however we need to respect our elders!. I used that word all the time when I was hanging out with my friends but I would never dream of uttering it around my parents - out of respect!. Even though the older generation does not understand how we use the word the bottom line is if they didn't sacrifice so much in the 60's we wouldn't even have hip hop music much less an album called Ni99er by Nas!. So out of respect we should honour there request and not use the word publically ie!. in music and other mass media outlets!.!.!. my 2 sense!.!.
