Music education major?!
Question: Music education major!?
I am a freshman in highschool and am going to major in music educaiton!.
All i can play is flute and some of the guitar!. I have made up my mind!. What do i need to know before entering college!?
I want to learn piano but i am not the best self teacher and my parents wont get me a teacher!.
I am going to be a music teacher!. What do i need to know BEFORE going into college and what do i need take BEFORE college!? I am almost a sophmore!. jr!. year is comming soon!

Keyboards would be a good skill to pick up obviously!. But one thing that might give you a boost would be getting some practice with recording and editing music as well!.
I know several semi-pro artists, and the ones who've had the best luck are the ones who really have the means to distribute samples, showcase their best stuff!. Know anyone who knows the best ways to set up microphones, lay a sound bed, tweak audio recordings for best replay!?
I'm TERRIBLE at it, but I know it's easy enough to learn the basics!. (Did a lot of TV and radio production work in college!.) You might consider it as a hobby for now!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Pretty much just take all of the music classes that you can!. You can use the internet and books to help you learn the piano!. If you already know how to read music it wont be so hard!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
