Hey!! I made Page 2 !! ;)
I love so many Guitarists, that play so differently from each other!.
But, today - I'm feeling like choosing the much underappreciated --
Bill Nelson of Be-Bop Deluxe
His "fills" are original and exciting; and I wish more people would hear his work!.
http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Be-bop_Delu!.!.!.
http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Bill_Nelson!.!.!.
Others, off the top-of-me-head -
Jimi (of course) - no one to date, can hold feedback in-place like him - he truly was one-of-a-kind!.
Steve Howe - took Wes Montgomery's style and applied it to Rock
Robert Fripp - always inventive and technically precise
Steve Hackett - for his love of "toys" and guitar "gimmicks" and pioneering 10 fingered "tapping," while Eddie VH was in grade school!.
Pete Townshend - Best "strum-side" Chord Play
Ritchie Blackmore - Best "neck-side" Chord Play
Tony Iommi - for taking the guitar into a new direction of style!.
Ian Anderson for his much underappreciated accoustic ability!.
If you asked tomorrow, it would be a different answer LOL
Datz it :)
