Dr Dre's 2001 album?!

Question: Dr Dre's 2001 album!?
Why was it named 2001 when it was released in '99!? Just curious!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Because Suge phucked Dre by releasing A Cd called "Suge Knight Represents: Chronic 2000 : Still Smoking" which was a compilation of Deathrow artists!. This Cd came out in May 4, 1999!. Because Dre didn't want people to be confused and buy this CD he changed the name of his CD to Chronic 2001 showing he was one step ahead of Suge!. Dre also sued deathrow over use of the name The Chronic stating Dre has become synonymous with the word Chronic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It was originally intended to be titled The Chronic 2000 but the name had to be changed because of litigation with Dr!. Dre's former label Death Row Records!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it was released on December 28, 1999!. i guess he thought people would be bumping it until 2001!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Cuz he said people will be listening to it even then!. In that case he should have called it 3000!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
