Question: Album Sales!?
Every time an album is sold, how much money does a band get from that one sold album, and how much money does the Record Label get from that one sold album!? also, if a band disbands or is in hiatus, do they still get money from their album sales!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on the artist!.Bon Jovi gets about 35 cents a cd!.Most artists only get a 25 cents!.Some get more,but that's about all they make!.That's why they tour!.Some bands make over $200,000 per show(The J/B's get 175,000)!.Hank Williams made over 600,000+!.Tours + merchandise are where the moneys at!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends really on the contract and who the artist is!. Normally on your first album, you will get like a dollar off of every album if you got a good deal!. The record label gets the rest!. If you disband, the part that you would recieve (i!.e!. 1/4 in a 4 man band) still comes to you as in the contract!. If you are in hiatus, it is still the same!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
