I made a list of a few bands i like earlier and 80 percent of the comments i got were that my music sucks or that im emo!. Who the hell gives you the right to call me emo, when you dont know me at all!. I respect all kinds of music!. so i will give you an entire list of all my favorites bands So you can see i dont limit it to one type of music!. Take the time to read it!.

metallica, nirvana, foo fighters, system of a down, linkin park, fall out boy, flyleaf, bowling for soup and 30 seconds to mars are all in my fave bands list as well!.
my chemical romance and taking back sunday are also really good!.
as far as im concerned, youre nowhere near emo!. besides, emo is a music genre!. dont listen to other ******* about what you are or what they think of your music!. know that there are plenty of people who are narrowminded and just label for no reason or just cuz of one's music choices!. i get the same crap about my music taste at school as well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

everyone who told you that, they are into the older stuff and they call anything thats new bad music!. just forget them, they are defending their own music!. i dont know what the heck their problem is actually, if it aint judas priest, or some other older band it aint good!. its annoying!. ive just learned to forget them because i like what i like, and just because it aint from the 80s doesnt mean its bad, or just because they dont like it doesnt mean its bad!. Well, I can go both ways on this, it depends on when you started listening to said bands!. If you just started listening to Atreyu and Underoath then yea, Im sorry but they are emo bands!. But what alot of people dont know is Underoath used to be a death metal band with no keyboarder and the drummer only had like five lines total on the first three CDs!. Avenged Sevenfold also used to be a metalcore band, unless you knew the songs you wouldnt know them from The Agony Scene!.
Now getting off that emo crap, you have good taste in music!. How many people can say they like Static-X, Breaking Benjamin, RHCP, U2, Van Halen or any other great bands!? Not many because kids only listen to stuff that was recorded after the year 2002!. I say its better to have a diverse selection in music, one shouldnt judge music just based on its genre!.
