It's because people with talent used to be musicians and such, now people that are attractive and MAYBE have some talent are the ones that are becoming worshipped celebrities!. i agree!. i watched a documentary called "Before The Music Dies" and they showed how you could take an everyday ordinary person off the street with no vocal skills at all and make them up to par with the singers of today!. There are no new real artists coming out anymore!. they're all about looks!. you don't need to be able to sing!. you can lip sync in a video and on stage and have the computer do all the work for you!. it's a sad sad age in music!. :(Www@Enter-QA@Com
I believe the GATEKEEPERS either don't want or don't value 'creativity!.
I believe there are LOTS of creative and innovative artists, but the folks in charge have NO CLUE about art or the power of art!.!.!. OR if they do the understand that the 60's/70's was a time of revolutionary thinking and frankly they don't want society to be engaged in that kind of revolutionary thinking!.!.!.
The greatest way to stifle that is to control the images, control the messages to such an extent that they don't have 'legs'!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's cause the emphasis now is mainly on science and being the next great scientist, not the arts!. Thus, less people are imaginative, thus, less shows are interesting!.
