Honestly, it's odd. While there are elements I love, there are elements that I don't love.
Love:
? Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso duet on an ORIGINAL song. (when I say original, I mean, original to the Disneymania collection.)
? Selena Gomez. Not a fan of the fact that the song has been done two other times but I think this cover is now my favorite.
? He Lives In You. I love this song and it's original.
? Drew Seeley plus You'll Be In My Heart. I love Drew's voice. So haunting. And this is one of my favorite Disney songs. Mixed together rocks. Wasn't too much a fan of Teddy Geiger's cover. Hope this one turns out good.
? When I See An Elephant Fly. Not a Plain White T's fan but I'm so glad to see a cover of such an obscure song.
? Jordan Pruitt. I love just about anything that girl sings.
? Kaycee Stroh. She was decent in HSM 1 & 2 so it's cool to see her get some love over all of the skinny more popular counterparts like Ashley and Vanessa or even Monique.
? Nikki Blonsky. More love for the bigger stars.
Don't Love:
? Demi Lovato. Yeesh, Disney, let Camp Rock premiere first please. We'll get enough of her once it does!! Sorry, too Miley Cyrus-y, over rated for me.
? The Cheetah Girls. This makes the record. They've been on 4 of the 6 albums, more than any other artist.
? Billy Ray Cyrus. What a day when daddy makes the album and Miley doesn't...
? SONG CHOICE!! What the heck?? Already two Enchanted songs? And one is just a promotional/closing song! Carrie already dominated with Ever Ever After. Too soon! And is Real Gone really a Disney song? That would be like having someone do Life is a Highway! Well, at least I know if I ever make it on there I could do Little Wonders from Meet The Robinsons *rolls eyes* My Strongest Suit is from a Broadway play that is only partially Disney. What's with that? As for the rest, they've all been done before, some more than once!! The people who put these things together need to brush up on their Disney songbook knowledge and realize there's a million different songs that could be covered.
Everything else I'm neutral on (which is basically artist selection :P)
I like some of it like Emily Osment, Selena Gomez, Kate Voegele, and Kaycee Stroh, but I really think that they should have Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale though.
