Which is better? APC or Tool?!
Question: I like apc when Im feeling mellow and need some quick music. Tool is a long and ardueous journey that brings me places......but can be draining. I cannot decide....

Tool without a doubt. APC is done, from what I have heard. Tool is still together and is working on what will be yet another masterpiece. They are totally different projects. The commonality is Maynard. I Love them both, but they are totally different bands.

It all depends on your mood. Overall tool has more depth and involves more complicated instrumental measures, but a perfect circle has more fluent melodies and doesn't just sound like african drums. If I only had the option to listen to one for the rest of my life, it would be tool.

Well you pretty much answered it yourself. Tool, the originator would be my vote, but that's the mood I'm in. To be honest, I'm probably more partial to APC songs than Tool songs, but I just can't rank them higher than Tool.
im going with tool just because ive liked them longer(before undertow came out i might add)

Both bands are great, but when it come to music Tool is just epic!
