...no, playing the trumpet is lame, playing the piano is pretty and graceful. why care what anyone else thinks anyway, if you like playing the instrument it shoudn't matter....

No way! I've always wanted to play the piano...
I think it's very sophisticated.

NOOOO! the piano is so beautiful to listen to. if you keep up with it, you will surely love it.

Ever heard of Ben Folds? Amaaaaaaaazing!!!!

Piano is definately not lame. I wish would have kept playing, so I'm trying to teach myself.

Not lame at all.

Not at all. Music is a wonderful way to express what you are feeling and a great way to learn a wonderful skill.

Keep in mind there is a lot of practice involved to become any good! Good luck!

pianos are NOT lame. you shouldnt care what others think about you anyway. do whatever your heart desires.

No, being able to play any instrument is cool. I wish I knew how to play the piano. I took lessons when I was 11 but I had a really crappy instructor so i never learned anything.

I would love to know how to play the piano.

No, pianos are not lame. I've been playing for 10 years now, and when youre able to play, people actually look at you in awe. They think its so cool to be able to play. Just make sure you have a good teacher because it does get a little boring.

Whoevr told u it was? if u wanna start playing the piano, then go for it! who cares what anyone else thinks? :)

no, ppl that can play piano r usually really cool

No...I don't think so. But I think you should go with what ever you want. Piano has a nice sound and stuff I don't play it but I love the sound. So go with whatever you want to but remember this: Don't let anyone tell you what to do, live life the way you want, not by what anyone else thinks.

u shudn't care wt other ppl think...if u like playing the piano (which is NOT lame) then u shud try and find time for it...and having long fingers REALLY isn't a big deal.!!!!

No way! I love playing the piano

no i think you should do what ever you want in life and if you want to play the piano then go ahead if you sit there and worry about what other people think and say about your probably not going to get far. decede for your self and dont let any one put you down.

no,. i love playing the piano! im so glad i learned

no way
playing any instrument takes talent
and if you like it who cares

no, playing the piano is not lame. it actually is one of the most versitle and basic instruments around, which is strange because it is rather complex in it's construction. you can play virtually any type of music it on it. a nice standard piano is large, expensive, not portable, takes up space, is hard to get a parent to commit to, i would suggest a portable keyboard to start, you can learn the basics on it, move it around, they have fun effects on them, and can be bought at a reasonable cost. GET A GOOD TEACHER! get one that stresses music theory. i took piano and guitar lessons for a total of about 6 years, and was just taught "this note is here, this note is there", I STINK!, if you learn music by the theory you will be able to take it as far as you want to, if you learn it by the mechanics, you will probably be unsatisfied and will reach a brick wall. realize tht this will take time and commitment, you're not going to sound like your favorite bands in a couple of weeks.
