It depends on what mood that I am in, but I have would have to say in general Pantera.

is that really a question?.....pantera hands down....sure megadeth is good but what about the long haired texas boy aka..dimebag darrell....by far the greatest metal guitarist of all time and dont say hendrix because hendrix didnt even play metal...pantera slaughters megadeth on a good and bad day....vinnie paul is a bad *** drummer to...but remember pantera fans..if it wasnt for the lead singer pantera would have been glam metal...and how many times has megadeth played at ozzfest vs. pantera
megadeth. because they kick *** and pretty much started that style of music for pantera (a former glam band) to FOLLOW. and i think that phil anselmo sucks as a "singer". dave's got him beat on that. not to mention the guitar playing.....the drumming....
the guys in pantera are competent players but none of them coulda done RUST IN PEACE. it just aint gonna happen.
i love them both
but i have to say megadeth
they're just that bit better
