Question: I listen to a lot of older music, so a lot of times I can name the sample just based on memory. I also find that I appreciate songs more if I really know where the beat comes from. A lot of times people post samples on wikipedia. If the other three methods fail, I usually look for youtube videos of the song, and scan through the comments to see if anyone commented on the sample. If all that fails, you can always asked for the sample here on Yahoo! Answers.
