How can I be discovered as a singer?!
Question: I'm not old enough to go on American Idol, and even if I was, that would be a last resort. I really truly want to be discovered within the next two years if possible and I want to begin down this road as soon as possible. How should I start? Singing is something I really want to do with my life. I took a career test for school and Performing Arts was my highest suggestion and education was the second. If I can't become a singer, I will be a science teacher. But anyways, how should I go about, starting now, and getting discovered? I don't want anything in the world right now more than this...

u can get an agent and when u get an agent you should leave it alone because agents are there for signing u up to a contract getting u to perform some where or even sing in a movie ask around for an agent that can get u alot of good performance places. If u find an agent you are all set
or
you can go to a record studio and also get an agent then if someone likes your voice you can sign a record deal or even make a CD find the closet record studio to u record ur voice see if an one like it of course u need an agent to guide u and get u to sing at more places
or
go to 106.1 they would probly let u sing if u payed money they will totally help u they help people pursue there dreams all u have to do is ask and pay money if it doesn't work try one of the other solutions i gave u.

go to a record company building and insist they listen to one of your songs
find the biggest church in your town and join choir. A lot do solos in front of everyone and get discovered. Good luck and God bless.
Your going to maybe get some demo cds together and try to get them to the radio station or something like that.
wow reaching for the stores i would consider going to your local radio station recording a c.d and then giving it to them and if they think your good theey will play it on the radio then from there u never know what will happen hope i helped

If you have a camera phone that can take videos, use that and then upload it onto YouTube with the USB cord.
