Dave Lombardo vs. Lars Ulrich?!
Question: Two of the greatest drummers ever.
I'm not asking the people who don't know who these guys are...I'm asking real fans. It's just opinion but I want to know who people think is the better drummer.

ok.......lars does well with the talent he has. but he's nowhere in the same league as lombardo. lombardo is faster than hell, does complicated timing, and is a more powerful hitter than lars.
slayer without lombardo just wasn't the same. bostaph was ok, but the music lacked because bostaph wasn't capable of doing what lombardo did.

Dave is way better. I mean Lars is great and all but do you think he would be able to handle Angel of Death or Raining Blood. Sure Lars kicks a** on One but the first half of that song is slow. If you think about it every song that Lars plays fast in there is a point in it where he plays slow as hell. some examples are, One St. Anger, Master of Puppets etc. But I still love his work with Metallica.

Lombardo. I never saw Lars as that good of a drummer. It's like he's the drummer and thats it. There's nothing special about him.
dave just on pure skill dave wins, im not saying that lars isnt good, im saying he just cant stand up to lombardo
