What are the big differences between single-coil pickups and humbuckers?!

and they have more of a "crunch". single coil pick ups give you more of a "shimmering". but sound also depends on what amp you have, not only pick ups. infact, despite what people think, its mostly the amp that gives you different sounds, not pick ups.
