if ur listening it's just learning to hear the notes correctly. If ur reading music there should be a # or a (b) on the line before the music begins. you play every one of those notes flat or sharp.

The sharps are always the black key to the right of the white key. The flats are always the black key to the left of the white key. Just think of sharps as rights and flats as lefts - sharp right and flat left!!!
