Can I have some advice about being in a band?!

Question: Me and my friends just joined a band and we don't really know where to start. We are a punk hard rock band and we're kinda young so...yeah. We don't have a drummer or a bass guitarist and we need them. I'm the singer, so any advice on that is appreciated as well. Thank you.

well you could just start writing songs and practice at least once a week.
ask people if they know any drummers or bassists or ave auditions...

after you have a full band and a few well practiced songs
[enough for a set list]
try getting gigs at small clubs
[like in Dallas, TX there are a ton in Deep Ellum and North Dallas]
or maybe at block parties...

keep practicing and finding gigs, raise/get some $$$
and have a recording.
or you can just have a home-made recording with the right equipment.

try sending your recordings to either small record companies that you would think support you, or go for the big time!

hope i helped and hope you have a good future with your band! =D

sing from the heart

well you can post some fliers (memos) for band member auditions, in your local clubs, at school on the internet :)

Go online and advertise, then start working on a song.
You need some steps, to do. I hope I helped!

Post want ads in the local paper and/or Craigslist.org saying your a band that's just starting out and need a drummer and a bassist. I'm sure there are drummers/bassists out there looking to join a band. Good luck! And keep your sound original :)

Well first I'd suggest finding a drummer and a bassist, haha.
If you find them make sure you all know how to play. Start off learning some cover songs so you guys can all mesh as a band and to improve your timing and to asses how well you all work together. Then maybe after practising a lot for a while you can go on to make some songs up, you never know. But being young just make sure you have fun doing so, otherwise it's just not worth it.

find a drummer and bass player...yeah.

get interest ..i was in a band we got auditions for people to join us then we went to the local clubs and pubs and started getting paid venues at around 16 years old...i was the singer aswel you need to be confident ....post some stuff on youtube when your all set up and ready ...good luck ...btw just to say dont do what i did and buy alot of equipment and then break up cuz then your left with all this stuff make sure your completely passionate about it x

you need a drummer and a bass player that *CLICK*. It helps if they played together before.
They are the foundation to your band. They hold down the groove while you and the lead guitar go off.
everyone has a say. everyone has a vote.
praise the bass and drums. They will MAKE or BREAK your sound.
