try a simple down, down, up, down with a couple of quick upstrokes here and there. the song actually uses a slide guitar style with some intricate picking (robby krieger had some classical training) the cool spooky intro is a great example of his talent. Gotta love that song "Lets swim to the moon" little known fact the song is about drowning. the last line is "come on baby gonna take a little ride down, down to the ocean side, gonna get real drunk, get real high. baby gonna drown tonight going down, down, down," (elektra records kinda freaked and made him change it but you can still make it out)
