There is a superb Russian animation DVD of Peter and the Wolf which has no narration and the soundtrack is of demonstration quality. It is quite difficult to find a recotrding without narration other than this.

This DVD only seems to be available from Amazon in Europe (not the USA, perhaps for licensing reasons).

Amazon.com will have several versions, including some with orchestra only. It's a delightful bit of music.
