How do i get my head voice to sound smoother...more pure like leona lewis'??!
Question: my head voice sounds very dry and it doesn't make it sound whistly and pure like leona lewis' head voice. it's very bad sounding lol. i like the way her head voice sounds in her song, "yesterday" and i used to be able to do that but now it's just dry and airy and my regular voice and chest voice is fine...it's just my head voice. any suggestions on how to fix it and make it more pure??? thanks sooo much 10 points for best answer.

I think the best way to get a pure head sound is to start off doing what I call sirens - slide from low to high on "Woooohooo!" If you do this everyday for about 5 to 10 minutes it will help develop the muscles that you need to use in order to build up your head voice. You will be amazed at the results because once you have built up these muscles you will be able to sing in your head voice even very quietly with control. If you do practice for even 5 minutes a day like that I'm talking about maybe a month or less before you hear results. I have been a voice teacher for over 10 years and have a bachelor degree in music - believe me when I tell you this works...
