Is mcr, patd and fob pop music???!
Question: Recently, I Have seen on another question that people think mcr, fob and patd are pop music!!!Have these people ever listened to House of Wolves and Mama! Or Snitches and Talkers get Stiches and Walkers!!! Compare these to the Spice Girls and Take That this is not pop music!!! I fail to see any cheesy pop dances!!! Just because it aint heavy metal with screamin!!! THIS IS NOT POP MUSIC!!! Is anyone with me on this!!!

**** NO!!!!! I love fob, mcr and patd and I think their punk rock/ emo!!!! No way are they pop, who the hell said that there pop thats a pile of BS!!!! I dont like you put genre's on things but if anything its not pop!!!! I love them all and so many more i even love meta and heavy rock but fob, mcr and patd take first place every time!!!! A lot of patd sounds like pop music in my opinion.
People also associate it with pop music because their all very mainstream, and in the charts now.
You listed some songs that dont sound like pop music, but a few of their songs do, such as on patd's new album, i honestly fail to see how that isnt classed as pop.
I dont think MCR is pop, people just hear 'Teenagers', and see all the annoying fan girls, and think they are.
Im being biased as i like MCR more than the other two, but i really wouldnt put their music in the same category as FOB, or PATD.
MCR's latest album has a lot of pop-punk sort of songs on, but as for their previous albums, they are not really pop.
I hate to classify it as music in general. It's more like desperate attempts to get a group of people together to make some noise and try to make some money. How they even partially succeed is a mystery to me.

nah! as a f.o.b. lover they have a punk thing going people prob. think they are pop because patrick's voice has a poppy feel, as for p@!td they totally switched it up on their new album pretty.odd so i could see why someone thinks that

MCR and PATD are certainly NOT pop music..... they really ought to listen to Famous Last Words and I Write Sins Not Tragedies.
If they still say that the two respective bands of the above are pop music, they must be mental.
But for FOB, their genre is Pop/Punk so they have SOME pop influences to their music.
