Answers: In the movie amadeus what was Antoni Saleri's plans for Mozart? And what was his first impression of Mozart?

The movie implies that Salieri poisoned Mozart, that is just a speculation...but that is Salieri's plan, to get him write the Requiem Mass and pretend that Salieri was the composer once Mozart was death.

And the first impression Salieri had of Mozart was disappointment, he found Mozart in a sort of sexual encounter with a woman that later on the movie ended being Mozart's wife.

Again, all is this part of a movie and not necessarily all true to the facts.

Forget the movie: It's science fiction. IN real life, Salieri did not like Wolfgang, but gladly played viola in his orchestras, etc. He loved Mozart's music. He also had Zero to do with Mozart's death. Doctors have today determined, based on Mozart's letters and known drinking in excess, he had Kidney failure. Frankly, he was a lush in epic proportions.

The movie has no bearing on historical accuracy. The movie intimates that Salieri plotted and caused Mozarts death. In actual fact, most experts agree that it was rheumatic fever and overwork that brought about his relatively youthful demise. There is little to support the notion that kidney disease caused it.
Rheumatic fever is related to heart valve damage due to dental caries. Whilst Mozart was known to "party" it is doubtful that this caused anything more than pecuniary damage. His eccentric behavior is typical of many geniuses - as they say "genius is akin to madness."

Remember the movie is fictional:

Saleri admired Mozart. Remember, he dreamed of being a great composer and traveling all around Europe playing for royalty like Mozart did. He gained what he wanted, but Mozart stole his fame away from him. He got jealous. It was his life's dream to be a great composer, so he got so jealous as to plan to kill him.

Salieri was there with Mozart almost to the end of his short life. Mozart even invited him to his newest opera, "The Magic Flute", in private box seats.
He did admire Mozart, but who didn't. Mozart had great respect for the court composer, and soon got work as a music writer for dances and balls etc....at the royal court.
See "Mozart, a Life" by Maynard Solomon.
The movie is just that...a movie. A few facts, but 90% fiction.
The world lost at least 40 years of music if Mozart had lived.
How sad.
