Give it time, thats the key thing to remember. When i first heard the single addicted i thought to myself "what the heck is this?!!...this isnt the P.O.D. i know and love." But i gave it more chances and I know am in love with the song. When i bought the album i came in with the same mentality. I wasnt really crazy about it at first because it is a pretty big departure from their other albums which i love (not a MAJOR departure because they still sound like well...P.O.D). While there are some songs that you will love right away, most of the album you have to let settle in because it really does get better with each listen. You could say there is somewhat of a departure from the hip-hop element they normally bring along with them, however they still rock hard. Give this album time because you will really enjoy it. It is a very good album, not their best album to date, but still very very good. There are many better choices for a lead single than "Addicted" so I still dont know why they chose that song. So far there is not one track that i do not like, but my favorite song is probably "It Cant Rain Every Day". It is a beautiful ballad and is the "Youth Of The Nation" of When Angels And Serpents Dance.
