Answers: Goes without saying to say "Pink Floyd fans only" doesn't it?
the ultimate best band...
i have to many favorite pink floyd songs..but i will mention one.
us and them- a soft melodic flowing song with dark lyrics about war...
that is what makes pink floyd, such great peaceful music with hardcore lyrics....they were a incredible band...
money...because it is a creative a funny song
My favourite song is Learning To Fly. That song can take you away and drop you in a peaceful little place- for the duration of the song. It clears my head.
"Wish you were here". It was my first husband and mine's song. He died. Miss him still.
Time for sure is brilliant, why? i think it hits the nail on the head when it comes to thinking about how fast time goes by so yeah thats my fave
The Great Gig In The Sky
it sooooooo relaxiiinnnggg....
young lust.. because i love the guitar riff
Time, because its so true, the older you get the faster time goes by.
Comfortably Numb
Another Break in the Wall, because its awesome!! i like how the kids sing in it. It ROCKS!! and the beat is GREAT!!
I would say Echoes!
Time or Comfortably Numb
Dark Side Of The Moon :]
i think its just cool to listen to
when your high.
especially on x-box 360 :]
Marooned - Gilmour's soloing is just amazing
They've been listed, but Echoes & Comfortably Numb.
ONE OF THEASE DAYS......... the ultimate headphone song there on all cyilanders for this one....also.. BE CAREFUL WITH THAT AX EUGENE
"Several Species of Small Furry Creatures Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict"...because it has the coolest and lengthiest song title I've ever heard. Besides, it's just kind of silly fun to listen to.
Also, "One of These Days", because it incorporates bits of the "Doctor Who" theme!
wish you were here...has so many meanings for me...but i love every single pink floyd song...
Well, can't beat TxRose's reason - still going with "Wish You Were Here" just because it IS my favorite. Been into them since "Saucerful of Secrets" although I fell out a bit with "The Wall" and haven't paid much attention to them since. Been thinking about "catching up".
Shine On You Crazy Diamond
Time
Echoes
Wish You Were Here
Because they are all just stunning pieces of rock music.
And there are so many more.
Learning to Fly - I love the guitar work
Dogs of War - I like the power of this song
There are many others, but I like those the best.
Echoes-I can just listen to that song for hours and hours. I just get mesmerized by it. I especially enjoy the Pompei version.
i like see emily play because it's happy and uplifting. and i feel so sorry for whoever said that wish you were here reminded them of their loved ones. it almost made me cry. :(
is there anybody out there
because it came out in my hormonal teenage years and it just struck a chord with me.
i love anything off the wall
I would have to go with "One of my Turns". Whereas it's buried in one of the best albums ever. It has every emotion possible wrapped up in 3min,35sec. It is a very powerful song, that not only makes you feel for the singer and his situation, but, it also makes you look at your own life when things are either overwhelming or depressing.
For me, it comes down to "Bike" and "The Gunner's Dream." Bike because it's one of Syd Barrett's best songs and Gunner's Dream because it sounds so incredibly beautiful.
