R&P, what are the best headphones to use?!

Question: I go through headphones like it's not even funny.

I listen to my music loudly because otherwise it just doesn't have the same effect.

Don't tell me to listen to it more quiet, thanks.

What kind of headphones do you use? How long do they usually last?

I'm always using the Gummy ones. I've had these about three weeks now and they're already shocking my ear drum, making a buzzing noise and making it sound like the song is skipping, when it really isn't.

So annoying.

I have a pair of Koss headphones that I got from Wal-mart for $19 I think and theyre great! Theyre basically earplugs that play music if you get what im saying, when you put them in you dont even have to turn up the volume up loud at all to drown out everything else.

Theyre over a year old and still work perfect no matter how loud I have them

Skullcandy
i love them THEY RULE!!

Edit: they are hella cheap and they work great and will last you...they are like 14 bucks nothing special

I just use my ipod headphones. the sounds pretty good on them, although i wont buy another set when these ones brake, cause there £25 to buy separately.

I find that the small headphones that sit in your ears blow out far quicker than the old fashion conventionial ones that sit on top of your head. I'm assuming this has something to do with the size of the actual speaker. The smaller ones that fit inside your ears may look better but can't withstand that much power for a long length of time.

Bose....but they are REALLY expensive...$350 or so.

I may be the only one but, i hate any kind of "ear buds" that go inside the ear...

I use Sennheiser PX-100s. They are an open-ear phone (foam pad - on ear - open to outside). They have great sound and are very comfortable - and affordable - about $50 (I think - will go check and get back if not). They will last.
