I think Mary J. Blige is the popular R&B singer over R.Kelley. She has released many albums during her career. =]
A few years ago, I would have said R. Kelly but his career seems to have gone practically nowhere in recent years as a result of his child sexual abuse allegations. As a result, I would now say it's Mary J. Blige.
