Ways to promote?!
Question: My Friend is pretty good at drums, his friend is really good at guitar, and im okay with vocals but cant play anything hah. I decided i was gonna do this the other day, then i recruited my friend. How can we promote the band? Ive been going to myspace a place for music, and posting in the forums, and i posted a youtube video ( www.http://youtube.com/watch?v=JjkP6TdeVrw ). We dont have anything on there yet but our myspace is [ myspace.com/ourdaysend68 ] if u want to check it out hah.
My grandpa is a Deacon at a church and they have a full set of drums, bass, guitar, mics, basically everything we need. And a little recording/sound room upstairs. So once i talk to him we can probably get free recording for a while.
And I know a few people who are pretty good photographers so we could get either free or cheaper for a photoshoot.
So ya. I have some pretty good connections hah. But anyways what is some other ways we can promote?
